The MacDonald family have a long, very long history as part of the Marlborough landscape. Their ancestors have inhabited the area for centuries. In fact Māori habitation of the Wairau Bar goes back at least 800 years. They wanted a brand to reflect their people, their connection to Marlborough and their history.

We were honoured to work together and create a story worthy of their family and also to be a winner in the inaugural Ngā Aho Best Award for the work.
